Frequently Asked Questions

Booking & Scheduling

While we can often accommodate short-notice bookings, we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability. For services in more remote areas of Northern NSW, 72 hours notice is preferred. We understand that funeral arrangements can happen quickly, so we always do our best to accommodate urgent requests. Please call us directly on our 24/7 line for last-minute bookings.
Yes, absolutely. Funeral directors, family friends, or extended family members can book our services on behalf of the immediate family. We'll coordinate with whoever is the primary contact to ensure everything runs smoothly. Many funeral homes across Northern NSW regularly book our services as part of their arrangements.
When booking, we'll need the service date and time, location (venue name and address), your contact details, and which package you'd prefer. If you know approximately how many remote viewers might be watching, that's helpful but not essential. We'll also ask about any specific requirements or requests for the stream.

Viewing the Stream

We provide a private, secure viewing link that is sent to the family to distribute to their guests. This link can be opened on any device with an internet connection - computers, tablets, or smartphones. No special software or apps are required; viewers simply click the link and the stream opens in their web browser.
Our streaming platform can accommodate up to 1,000 concurrent viewers, which is more than sufficient for the vast majority of funeral services. Whether you have 5 remote viewers or 500, everyone will receive the same high-quality stream without buffering or interruption.
Yes, viewers can watch on a smart TV by either using the TV's built-in web browser to open the viewing link, or by casting/mirroring from their phone, tablet, or computer using Chromecast, AirPlay, or similar screen mirroring technology. We provide simple instructions with each viewing link.

Recording & Video

All our Premium and Legacy packages include recording. The Standard package includes recording as an optional extra. The recording is provided to the immediate family or the person who booked our services. We do not share or publish recordings without explicit written consent from the family.
Raw recordings are typically available within 24-48 hours. For edited recordings with our memorial packages, we aim to deliver within 5-7 business days. Rush editing is available for an additional fee if you need the recording sooner. Recordings can be delivered digitally via secure download link or as physical DVD/USB copies.
Yes, our Legacy package includes a custom tribute video. You provide us with photos, video clips, and any special requests (favourite music, quotes, etc.), and our editors will create a beautiful memorial tribute. This can be played during the service and is also included in the final edited recording.

Privacy & Security

Privacy is paramount. Each stream uses a unique, encrypted link that is impossible to guess. We do not list streams publicly or make them searchable. The link is only shared with the family, who can distribute it to their chosen guests. For additional security, we can password-protect streams upon request at no extra charge.
Only our technical team can see viewer analytics (number of viewers, approximate locations), and this information is kept strictly confidential. Individual viewer names or identities are not visible to anyone unless they choose to identify themselves in a guestbook or chat feature.
After delivering the recording to the family, we retain a secure backup copy for 30 days in case of any issues, after which it is permanently deleted from our servers. We do not keep, share, or use any footage for any purpose. If you require immediate deletion after delivery, just let us know.

Pricing & Payment

Our Standard package ($450) includes a single professional HD camera, high-quality audio capture, a private viewing link for up to 50 remote guests, and basic technical support. This package is ideal for smaller, more intimate services where a single camera angle is sufficient.
No hidden fees. Our listed prices include all equipment, setup, operation, and pack-down. Travel within our standard service area (Grafton, Yamba, Casino, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, and Ballina) is included at no extra charge. For locations outside these areas, a reasonable travel fee may apply, which will always be quoted upfront.
We accept bank transfer, credit/debit card (via secure online payment), and payment through the funeral home (we can invoice them directly). Payment is typically required within 7 days of the service, though we understand funeral expenses can be complex and are happy to discuss arrangements.

Technical Questions

We use professional broadcast-quality equipment including Sony 4K cameras, wireless lapel and ambient microphones, professional lighting, and redundant internet connections (mobile 4G/5G bonding) to ensure reliability. All equipment is discreet and positioned to minimise any intrusion on the service.
We come prepared with our own mobile internet bonding technology that combines multiple 4G/5G connections for maximum reliability. In the extremely rare event of a complete internet outage, the service is still recorded in full and made available to remote viewers as soon as possible after the service.
We typically arrive 60-90 minutes before the service begins to set up equipment, test audio and video, and ensure the stream is working perfectly. For larger or more complex setups (multi-camera, large venues), we may arrive up to 2 hours early. Setup is always done discreetly and respectfully.
