How to Watch a Funeral Livestream

A simple guide to help you view a memorial service online.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these simple steps to watch a funeral service online.

1

Receive Your Private Link

The family or funeral director will provide you with a private, secure link to view the livestream. This link is typically sent via email or text message.

Tip: Check your email (including spam/junk folder) or text messages for the link. If you haven't received it, contact the family directly.
2

Test Your Device

We recommend testing your setup before the service. Click the link a few minutes early to ensure everything is working. Make sure your speakers or headphones are connected and working.

Supported devices: Computers (Windows/Mac), tablets (iPad/Android), smartphones (iPhone/Android), and smart TVs.
3

Join the Livestream

Click the link a few minutes before the scheduled service time. The stream will begin automatically. You may see a "Waiting for stream to start" message - this is normal.

Note: If a password is required, it will be provided along with the link.
4

Access the Recording

After the service, you may receive a link to watch the recording if the family has chosen this option. Recordings are typically available within 24-48 hours.

Recording access: The same link may provide access to the recording, or a separate link may be sent.
